In my first year at University, I realized the number of children who could not afford primary education (less than ₦30,000 per annum) was disturbingly alarming. The weight of this realization drove me to take action.
I decided to challenge myself and took two children, enrolled them in a local school, and paid for their fees. I felt such joy and fulfillment knowing I could support and train children without much financial stress while still focusing on my academics.
That experience planted the seed for TrainAChild – a platform connecting students and professionals worldwide with less-advantaged children who need educational support.
We handle all the administration while trainers monitor child progress and help educate kids on a personal level. This personal connection creates lasting impact and transforms communities.
As Co-Founder of TrainAChild, I bring a passion for operational excellence and a deep commitment to ensuring every child receives the quality education they deserve. My journey in education advocacy began when I witnessed firsthand the transformative power of accessible learning.
With a background in project management and community development, I focus on building sustainable systems that connect sponsors with children efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of transparency and accountability.
I oversee our partner school network, sponsor relations, and impact tracking systems to ensure every contribution creates measurable change in children's lives.
